Lauda Musicam of Atlanta, conducted by Jody Miller, presents "Fun and Games: A Family and Children's Concert." Playful, mischievous, and fun music as various instruments used during the renaissance period are demonstrated. The concert will be followed by an instrument "petting zoo" where the audience can see and play the instruments themselves! Lauda Musicam performs on wind, string, and percussion instruments in popular use during the time period. The vocal ensemble Uncommon Practice assists in this performance. Lauda Musicam is an ensemble of historical instruments, including recorder, viol, cornetto, harp, sackbut, shawm, percussion, and voice.
